Sumbel Aurangzeb serves as the 2017 Board Secretary for the IACC. Her interests include working with immigrant and lower income communities, international relations, and politics. Her educational background includes a B.A. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and a M.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas, with a focus on Public Administration, Political Science, and Journalism. She currently provides social media marketing services for a variety of organizations.
Sumbel works with the Good Citizen’s Council, an organization geared towards mobilizing voters in DFW at the local/city levels of government.
Dr. Ali Heidari he has been a board member of IACC for 2 years now. Dr. Ali currently lives in Dallas, Texas where he attended Chiropractic school at Parker Chiropractic University. During his time at Parker he obtained 2 more bachelor degrees one in health and exercise science and one in Human Anatomy. Dr. Ali loves helping people and educating them on health related topics. Some hobbies he loves traveling and playing golf.
Board MemberLaura Rodriguez is a retired Elementary School Principal who is now with Stream. She was an elementary school principal in Denton ISD for 13 years at Robert E. Lee Elementary. She retired from Denton ISD in 2013 after being in education for 27 years. She has been in Stream for 5 years. Stream is an electricity provider with services that also include natural gas, mobile phone service, as well as other home services.

Is an entrepreneur who has owned several successful businesses in his lifetime. He is currently the C.E.O. of Hennen Marketing Group Inc. an e-commerce company that has yearly sales of 4 million dollars and has done over 50 million in total sales since 2000. He is also the Founder and C.E.O. Of VetList.com an online national directory for Veterans in business. He serves on the Board of Directors for the I.A.C.C., Chosen Adoption Ministries and Fear To Faith Ministries. He is married to his high school sweetheart Andrea and they have 6 children.
